Kosher Pasture-Raised Lamb Stock Bones
Kosher Pasture-Raised Lamb Stock Bones
Make rich, traditional homemade lamb stock with bones from our locally raised, pasture-raised kosher lamb.
These stock packs contain assorted bones and may include small amounts of attached meat, cartilage, and connective tissue. Slow simmering extracts flavor and gelatin, producing a deeply savory broth that's wonderful for soups, stews, braised meats, and traditional cooking.
Our lambs were raised on pasture and processed locally through kosher shechita. The bones have been vacuum-sealed and frozen.
Suggested Cooking Instructions
Place the bones in a stockpot with cold water, onions, carrots, celery, and your favorite herbs. Bring to a gentle simmer and skim any foam that rises.
Simmer gently for approximately 4–8 hours, adding water as needed. Strain the stock, cool promptly, and refrigerate or freeze.
For a richer roasted flavor, roast the bones at 400°F for approximately 25–35 minutes before simmering.
